MC-347R (TIG)
Better corrosion resistance than type 308. It is used for welding type 321 and 347 stainless steel. Typical applications include welding corrosion, and resistance steel in high-temperature services bound in chemical refineries, smelters, and power plants.

MC-347R (TIG) is stabilized with Niobium to prevent intergranular corrosion. Better corrosion resistance than type 308. It is used for welding type 321 and 347 stainless steel. It provides good corrosion resistance in service temperatures up to 760˚C.
Typical applications include welding corrosion, and resistance steel in high-temperature services bound in chemical refineries, smelters, and power plants.
Operational and Packaging Data:
- Rod size: 1.6 and 2.4mm.
- Rod packaging: 5kg.
Notes on usage:
- For the GTAW process, use DC-EN, Pure Argon.
- For the GMAW process, Spray Transfer or Short Circuit Transfer mode can be used.
- 98% Argon + 2% O2 shielding gas is recommended in the GMAW process.
