Coremax 308LP-O is a new formulation of flux-cored wire for both gasless and CO₂ shielding gas welding. It provides more options during practice application, makes the manufacturing process, and provides equivalent performance and function as conventional 308L/309L/316L. It is designed for self- shielding processes or CO2 gas shielding.

It is mainly applied to weld all types of stainless steel material like 301, 302, 304, or 304L stainless steel. It is also suitable for welding stainless steel structures in chemicals, paper, and pharmaceutical industries. It is used to remove or eliminate all possible sources of contamination including corrosion by-products: dirt, oil, grease, scale, paints, and marking ink which may contain chlorides.

Operational and Packaging Data:

• Diameter: 1.2mm, 1.4mm, and 1.6mm.
• Spool packaging: 12.5kg.

Notes on Usage and Welding Condition:

• Use a DC power source with constant voltage and polarity DCEP.
• Self-shielded or gasless for the applications.
• Clean up water, rust, and oil on the base metal to avoid porosity and crack.
• Proper protection of the welding place against the wind is necessary during outdoor welding.
• Proper storage is recommended when opening the packing.
